See Where to Meet Santa in Surrey to Take Amazing Pictures this 2021

November 15, 2021

For children, part of the wonder of the holiday season is going to bed on Christmas Eve and waking up on Christmas morning to presents underneath the tree. It’s a fun tradition made even better if children see the guy in the red suit and tell him their gift list. So whether you want Santa photos or for your child to simply chat with the jolly man, here are six places to meet Santa in Surrey and its outlying areas.

Surrey Holiday Lights

Spend a lovely time both indoors and out at Surrey Holiday Lights. Not only will you see thousands of gorgeous lights, but there are so many things to do besides enjoy the bulbs. Meet Santa in Surrey, and take photos with the guy in the red suit. You can also get food from several food trucks, grab a drink (for all ages) at the Polar Bar, and enjoy live entertainment, including the Christmas Musical. Finally, be sure to stop by the holiday market to check a few people off your gift list.

Magical Santa Brunch

It’s one thing to sit on Santa’s lap and tell him your wish list, but it’s an entirely different experience to eat brunch with the big guy himself on December 12th. Langley Golf & Banquet Centre presents their annual Magical Santa Brunch, where there will be a delicious meal and a visit from Santa. There will also be a magic show to entertain the whole family.

Santa’s Playground

Walkthrough Santa’s Playground at UA PAX. On Sunday, December 5th, get Santa photos in Surrey, play games, eat delicious holiday treats, and enjoy the festivities to kick off the holiday season. There is also a selfie photo station, gingerbread house decorating and dancing. Santa shows up for a surprise visit at this popular event, so register soon and bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the local food bank.

Mamas Annual Toy Drive

This drive-through experience is not to be missed this holiday season if you’d like to meet Santa — Surrey style! Each vehicle receives one free bag of donuts from Little Ooties, and you can purchase more donuts if you’d like. So come to hear singing gingerbread men and see Mr. and Mrs. Claus this Christmas. Also, this is a toy drive, so be sure to bring toys to donate to bless others this season with Mamas for Mamas.

Lumagica

Outdoor lovers will enjoy walking through the Lumagica light display at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. The route is wheelchair and stroller-friendly and covers 1 km of trail, making it easy for folks of all skill levels. Enjoy the holiday lights, see interactive exhibits, and enjoy the various photo ops. The event also includes a holiday market and live entertainment, and you can grab something to eat while you’re there. But the reason it made our list is that kids can meet Santa in Surrey at his cabin in the North Pole. How fun!

Glow Christmas

Pack the car, and drive through Glow Christmas. Experience “A Fairytale Christmas” as you slowly ride through the 20 minutes of light displays. You’ll even receive donuts and popcorn to enjoy along the route. Prepurchase your tickets, and buy a few poinsettias while you’re there. You’ll have the opportunity to drive through the North Pole and see Santa in lights!

Surrey Tree Lighting Festival

The Surrey Tree Lighting Festival is one day only, so mark your calendar for Saturday, November 20th, from 12 pm-10 pm. Of course, one highlight is seeing Santa in Surrey and having photos. However, there is also an immersive light experience, a holiday market, live music, an enchanted village, and multiple giveaways. It’s a fun event for family members of all ages.
